Adult Basic Life Support
Aims & Objectives
The aim of the Basic Life Support course is to give the candidate the skills to deal with a collapsed patient. Subjects covered include review of new Resuscitation Council guidelines, safety on scene, airway, use of pocket masks, bag-valve-mask and compression only CPR.
All candidates will receive their own pocket mask to take away
Up to three sessions can be run in one day. The ideal course to meet mandatory requirements for NHS and private sector regulations.

Delivery Technique
This course is delivered via a range of techniques including:
- Instructor Led Presentation
- Group Discussion
- Practical Sessions
- The amount of different methods of presentation is flexible to suit the needs of the group.
Course Assessment
This course is subject to ongoing assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. Competency based documented assessment ensures the required level of understanding.
Course Certification
All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate which will be valid for 1 year.
