Aims & Objectives

This course is partly theory and part practical. Areas covered on the day are anatomy, vein selection, infection control and roles and responsibilities of the practitioner. Generic packs are available for the practitioner to take away.

Course Duration

4 hours excluding breaks

Delivery Technique

This course is delivered via a range of techniques including:

• Instructor Led Presentation
• Group Discussion
• Practical Sessions

The amount of different methods of presentation is flexible to suit the needs of the group.

Course Assessment

This course is subject to ongoing assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. Competency based documented assessment ensures the required level of understanding. This will be carried out in the practitioners own work place by a person nominated by they employer.

Course Certification

All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate of attendance.
